The images to the left (or above if you’re on mobile) were hand-selected for your eyes. If you’d like to see more of my visual work you can head over here or skip straight to my resume here. Otherwise, stay for a while and I’ll let you know why I think I’m a great fit for Madewell.
I think I have the right mix of design, meaningful communication, and trend forecasting skills that make me great for this role. I’d like to take these skills to help Madewell bring more good days to stylish customers.
In my time at Sioris I was responsible for social media content creation, strategy, and execution. The content created included original product shots, graphic design. Beyond designing original content, it was a genuine pleasure for me to engage with and get to know the Sioris audience. Listening to what our followers cared about, gave me valuable insight into what content we could share that would be helpful to them.
At Vancouver Fashion Week (Canada), my responsibilities varied daily and I learned to adapt quickly to what was needed from me. This included designing digital content for VFW’s three brands, spearheading the rebrand of VFW’s blog into a stand-alone Magazine, coordinating and styling photoshoots, all in addition to managing their social media calendars. The job was versatile, to say the least, and it really sharpened my organizational and time management skills.
I am passionate about working in collaboration with others and live by the adage that you can learn something from every person you meet. I take these principles with me to every workspace. I can’t wait to learn from your team and contribute meaningfully to the Madewell team.
All the best,
Deanna
